Six Indian national killed, five injured in jeep accident in Nepal

Six Indian nationals were killed while five others suffered injuries after a jeep fell into Marsyandgi river while on its way to Kathmandu from tourist destination, Pokhara in Nepal’s Tanahun district on Tuesday night.
As per reports, the jeep fell into the river last night after the driver lost control over the vehicle and skidded off the road near Chunpahara on Bandipur-6 in Western Nepal in which Vinay Kumar Tripathi (58), Kalawati Tripathi (56), Neelam Tripathi (37) Poonam Tripathi (33), Neha Tripahi 20 and Hemant Tripathi (13) were killed. While Ravinderkant Tripathi (43), Satendra Dubey (34), Aryan Dubey (9), Ashi Dubey (8) and driver Yubaraj Gurung suffered injuries in the accident and they have been admitted in Kathmandu Hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
Police officials said that the exact cause behind the accident couldn’t be ascertained and they are further investigating the matter.
