Indian govt raises limit of subsidised LPG cylinders to 12

Indian government on Thursday raised the limit of subsidised LPG cylinder to 12 from the earlier limit of 9 LPG cylinder.
The Union Cabinet which met here today approved to raise the limit of subsidised LPG cylinder to 12 from the earlier limit of 9 LPG cylinder.
The decision comes days after Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had demanded from the Congress led UPA government to raise the limit of LPG cylinders from 9 to 12 at the meeting of All India Congress Committee (AICC) on January 17.
