A Delhi resident on Thursday was challaned and booked for rash driving for allegedly overtaking the cavalcade in which Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi was travelling.
As per reports, Saurav Rastogi, a resident of Multan Nagar in Delhi, was returning to his residence when he overtook Vadra’s car near Amar Colony. “Rastogi overtook the cavalcade in which Robert Vadra was travelling despite the security men’s direction to move away after which they informed Delhi police,” said the police, adding that PCR personnel tracked him after which he was challaned and booked for rash driving.
However, Rastogi explained to the police that he didn’t knew that VIP was moving in cavalcade after which he was let off after paying the fine for rash driving.
