Danish national robbed, gangraped in Delhi

A 51-year-old woman, who had come to India from Denmark, was allegedly robbed and gangraped on knifepoint by unidentified persons near New Delhi Railway Station on Tuesday night.
As per reports, the Danish national was returning to her hotel in Paharganj area after visiting national museum when she lost her way. “The Danish woman was taken to a secluded place on knifepoint by unidentified assailants and gangraped her,” said the police, adding that the assailants also robbed her of cash and valuables.
She somehow reached her hotel in Paharganj area after which she informed her friend who in turn informed Denmark’s embassy. Meanwhile, police have registered a case against unidentified persons and a hunt is on to nab the accused.
