Assistant mining engineer arrested for taking bribe

Haryana State Vigilance Bureau on Monday arrested Raj Kumar Yadav, the Assistant Mining Engineer of Hisar for allegedly demanding bribe for releasing tractor and trali that was impounded by him.
A Vigilance bureau spokesperson said that Yadav was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 from complainant Suresh Kumar, a resident of Budhkhera in Hissar in lieu of Tractor and Trali impounded by him.
A case has been registered against him under section 7 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act in Bureau’s Police Station in Hissar and further investigation in the matter are on.
