Sukhu stresses on the need to popularise UPA policies at booth level

Himachal Congress chief Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday stressed on the need to popularise the policies and programs of the centre as well as state government at booth level.
Sukhu was addressing the meeting of recently appointed Block Level Observers of Himachal Congress at Rajiv Bhawan in Shimla.
He said that Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) will distribute pamphlets about the people centric policies of Central government to party workers so that they are well informed about these policies.
All the block level observers of Himachal Congress attended the meeting and presented their detailed report of the meeting that were conducted in their respective blocks recently. They briefed Sukhu about the discussions on the popular policies of party, state and central government in these meetings.
Addressing the meetings of block level observers, Sukhu congratulated all the Block Level Observers for successfully holding meeting in their respective blocks.
“Owing to successful completion of meeting, the party workers are now working in committed manner for Congress party and we will continue to organise such meeting regularly at block level in a disciplinary manner,” Sukhu said.
He said that HPCC would now take this initiative further by organising meeting at Panchayat and Booth level.
Sukhu said that he will personally undertook tour programs at block level in Himachal, including the tribal areas of the state under the Karyakarta Jagrukta Abhiyan (Workers’ Awareness Campaign).
He said that the party will ensure the presence of Congress office bearers, ministers, CPSs, MLAs, Ex. MLAs, office bearers of youth Congress, Mahila Congress, Sewa Dal, NSUI, INTUC and party’s frontal organisations in the block level meeting.
The meeting was attended by CPS Nand Lal, Vinay Kumar, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, spokesperson Naresh Chauhan along with all the block level observers.
