Punjab gives 15 days to 23 ITIs to fulfill criteria to admit students

Punjab government on Tuesday gave 15 days time to 23 private ITIs in which admission process has been stopped temporarily to fulfill the set criteria to admit students in their institutes.
A spokesperson of Technical Education department said that the state government gave 15 days to fulfill all terms and conditions to all 23 private ITIs affiliated with National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), where admission process has been temporarily stopped due to lack of equipments and faculties.
“Those institutions which will fulfill requirements in given time frame would be allowed to start admissions,” the spokesperson said, adding that if any ITI will failed to fulfill the requirements in given time, then the case for cancellation of their affiliation would be forwarded to DGET. He added that date to fulfill the requirements will not be extended in any condition.
