Punjab government will honour 750 students of Punjab School Education Board who had been selected for admission in IITs across the country this year, Punjab’s Education Minister Sikander Singh Maluka said her today.
Maluka congratulated these meritorious students who have won laurels for Punjab by their outstanding academic achievement. “These students would be honored by the education department so that other students could be motivated to pursue higher education,” Maluka said while expressing hope that the students of Punjab government schools will also excel in the forthcoming councilling for medical and non medical colleges.
Maluka said that they have chalked out a comprehensive plan to further upgrade the infrastructure and quality of education in the government schools of the state.
Maluka also invited the suggestions from the officers for upgrading the quality of education in agreeable environment.
