Punjab CM terms attack on Bodh Gaya as barbaric, lashes at Union govt for failure to provide security

Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal on Sunday termed the serial bomb blasts at Bodhi Temple in Gaya in Bihar as barbaric and inhuman and lashed at Congress led UPA government for failing to provide internal and external security.
While speaking to mediapersons at Sri Harmandir Sahib Complex in Amritsar, Badal said that it was very unfortunate that the terrorists had not even spared the religious shrines for carrying out such brutal activities.
“This incident has once again proved that the terrorist do not have any religion and their sole aim was to spread terror amongst the masses,” Badal said.
Badal blamed the Congress led UPA government at the centre for failing to providing internal and external security to the countrymen.
“It is a fact that the Congress government has failed to check such incidents of terrorism in the country thereby putting the sovereignty of the nation in deep peril,” Badal said.
Meanwhile, he reiterated that the alliance between SAD and BJP was very firm and both the alliance partners have always solved the major issues through mutual dialogue.
Earlier on Sunday morning, nine serial blasts took place in Bodhi Temple in Bihar in which two persons suffered injuries and it has caused damage to temple complex after which it had been closed for visitors till further orders.
