Son of former Pakistani Prime Minster kidnapped in Multan

Former Pakistani Prime Minster Yusuf Raza Gilani’s son allegedly kidnapped by unidentified gunmen fro election rally in Multan. Two persons of his personnel staff have been killed while five other persons have been injured in the attack.
Gilani’s son Ali Haider was scheduled to address an election rally in Multan area as part of his ongoing election campaign for Pakistan’s People’s party that will end in the evening today.
“The unidentified gunmen barged at the venue of poll rally of former Pakistani PM, Ali Haider and opened fired at the people gathered there. They allegedly killed the personal secretary and security of Haider and have reportedly kidnapped him,” police sources said.
Ali Haider was reportedly warned by terrorists for campaigning in the ongoing general elections in Pakistan. However, till now, no terrorist group has taken responsibility for the attack on former PM’s son and police authorities are further investigating the matter to rescue Haider.
It is worth mentioning here that there have been attacks on secular parties that is likely to benefit Islamists parties as they are supportive of terrorists including Pakistan’s Taliban that is at war with government troops and they like to establish Islamic government in Pakistan.
