Himachal to adopt zero tolerance policy towards corruption: Virbhadra Singh

Himachal government will adopt zero-tolerance towards corruption and anyone found involved in corrupt practices will dealt strictly, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said while addressing a gathering Una here today.
“The state government will be ensure that illegal mining in the rivers and rivulets of the Himachal is curbed and steps will be taken to bring to the book, those involved in such activities,” Virbhadra Singh said.
Singh said that his Congress led government is committed for overall development of the Himachal and efforts are being made to strengthen the economy by initiating various austerity measures. “State Government had taken numerous decisions and started many ambitious schemes to benefit every section of the society within four months of its reign,” Singh said.
The Chief minister announced that a Primary Health Centre will be opened at Chaksarai and a Stadium in Behar Jaswan will also constructed. Further, 50 handpumps will installed in Chintpurni area during current financial year for ensuring adequate drinking water facility to the people of the area.
He said that Jabehar, Takrola, Bhaira and Kinnu schools would be upgraded to Senior Secondary Schools besides starting Science classes in Senior Secondary Schools, Behar Jaswan and Suri.
