Dara Singh’s son Vindoo arrested in IPL’s spot fixing scandal

Meanwhile, Sahara India’s Pune Worrior India has withdrawn from IPL after they fail to pay guarantee money

Legendary wrestler-actor from Punjab Dara Singh’s son Vindoo was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly for playing the role of facilitator in IPL’s spot fixing scandal in which Indian Cricketer S Sreesanth along with two other players were arrested by Delhi police.
Mumbai police’s Joint Commissioner Himanshu Roy said that Vindoo for his links with bookies along with one Alpesh Patel and Prem Taneja, who also had links with bookies. Police also have recovered more than Rs 1 crore from Alpesh Patel, who is said to be a hawala trader.
Vindoo was the winner of reality television show Bigg Boss season 3 and he was spotted many a times watching IPL matches and attending post-match parties.
Meanwhile, Sahara’s IPL team Pune Warriors today withdraw their team from cricketing league after it failed to pay the full franchise fee for the current year.
On the other hand, BCCI has started the procedure to encash the bank guarantee that has been deposited in order to procure Pune Warriors` franchise fee for the current year.
Sahara had bought Pune franchise for a record Rs 1702 crore for 10 years but it was reportedly having dispute over reduction of franchise free.
