36 stenographers to be recruited in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) of Indian government will recruit 36 Stenographers under pay grade II & III for its DAE units located Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
The maximum age limit for general category candidates is 27 years while for SC/ST candidates the age limit is extended upto 32 years and for OBC candidates, it has been extended to 30 years.
The qualification for applying to the posts is matriculation or equivalent while tying speed for grade III stenographer post is 80 words per minute in English shorthand and 30 words per minute in English typewriting.
Meanwhile, for grade II stenographer, the typing speed of candidate should be 100 words per minute in English shorthand and 45 words per minute in English typewriting.
The candidates should also possess knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry and Data Processing and the candidates who have knowledge of Hindi typewriting and Shorthand will be given preference.
The tests for will be conducted in Mumbai and objective multiple choice questions will be asked from candidates in written test. BARC will pay traveling allowance to outstation SC/ST candidates of second-class Railway fare by the shortest route on production of tickets.
