Farmers Training Camps in Punjab from March 22

In order to educate farmers regarding new techniques for the agriculture production for the Kharif season, Punjab agriculture department will organize farmers training camps in all the districts from March 22.
An agriculture department spokesperson said that farmers of Punjab will be sensitized about the new technique of agriculture and their problems will addressed by experts in these training camps. “Agriculture training camp at Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala will be conducted on March 22, in Barnala and Sangrur on March 23, in Faridkot and Firozepur on March 24, in Roopnagar and SAS nagar on March 29, in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and Hosiarpur on March 30, in Mansa and Bathinda on April 3, in Amritsar and Taran Tarn on April 4, in Jalandhar and Kapurthala on April 5, in Gurdaspur on April 6 and in Moga and Ludhiana on April 9,” the spokesperson said.
He added that the date of Mukatsar camp will be finalized later and he urged farmers to take active part in these camps and get the maximum benefit out of it.
