The Shimla police have claimed to crack a three month old theft case in a Blackberry showroom of Mall Road.
The Shimla police have arrested the main accused Rajan, who hails from Bihar along with stolen mobile in this case, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Brijesh Sood said.
It worth mentioning that on the morning of March 28 around 200 mobile phones of different models worth about Rs 23 lakh were stolen from a Blackberry mobile showroom located at posh Mall Road were stolen.
“Rajan has revealed during the interrogation that total 13 person were involved in this theft who had reached from Delhi on March 25 and after getting familiar they burgled this shop on March 28 in the early morning.
All of other accused also belong to Bihar and soon would be arrested,”Sood said.
He informed that with the help of telecommunication companies the first stolen mobile was tracked in Bihar on June 5 and two person were arrested on June 6 who were using the stolen mobile.
He informed that this gang was also involved in various theft cases in Nepal.
